iTunes can be used to synchronise Cocoon provided the music files are in MP3 or unprotected AAC format and users install a helper application called “SyncTunes”. Songs downloaded through iTunes are DRM protected and therefore will not work with Cocoon.

Thanks for the response. I am using Windows 2000 and SyncTunes is a Mac application. I have never purchased music and I have encoded everything in AAC. The problem is that ITunes doesn’t use the AAC extention and instead uses .M4A which nothing recognises.

I think I will go back to my IPOD as it is more trouble than it’s worth to mess around with several GB of music files.

Hey Paul,
I also an Itunes person and this is how i drag music to my cocoon. Just connect the cocoon into the computer, choose “transfer file”. Open the cocoon window, click on the music folder. (i think if i dont put music into this folder, the cocoon wont be able to recognize the files and play it) and you just drag music directly from itunes to the music folder in the cocoon. You don’t have to use window media. the only thing is, i dont think u can make a playlist using itunes though. That would require window media.

I have bought a cocoon without CD driver.I don’t even have its nest(I have to use an usb cable from another phones,but I can connect it to PC via O2 PC suite).but I can’t use transfer file mode to transfer music,video and picture from my PC to phone’s memory.Please send me a link to download its driver(alive link and I can download it free,please).

Aggie had gave a way to solve your prob. I’m a iPod user,too. And I have a better way to solve it ..

You can convert all the musics in iTunes into MP3 by the iTunes….Than you can upload the musics onto WMP11 again….
