O2 blueroom

Hi there, first of all I’m going to need more details on this, if you install the o2 software that’s comes with phone you shouldn’t have any problems for installing drivers for the phone as I have done this myself on Vista (business edition). The only other thing I can think of is to turn off UAC (user account control) which is apart of Vista Security under the user accounts section. UAC basically stops users from tampering with system files, installing apps, deleting…etc
This is a good thing, but can be pain to experienced users. So try turning UAC off then installing the software and drivers should install fine.

Thanks Harvey. I switched off the UAC and I managed to transfer musiac file via Windows Media. However I still cannot sync with contacts,diary etc. Could the problem be Outlook??

We have come across a couple of issues with PC Suite and Windows Vista which may affect some users. These are in the area of slight UI corruption (due to the different font that Vista uses) and some random errors.

Users can get PC Suite working with Vista but synchronising the calendar may cause problems, playback of video on the PC within the application may be jumpy (but not through Windows Media Player, which is fine) and modifying contacts on the PC to put back onto the phone may not update correctly.

We are working on updating the PC Suite to resolve these issues.
